It was a gorgeous night here for Father's Day and it cooled off a bit, so we decided to go on a walk. Where? Well, to the beach of course! ^_^ That is usually where you can find us! Anyway, here are some miscellaneous pics.

Siver Hawks
Last night we drove to South Bend to watch the Silver Hawks(minor league baseball) play the Fort Wayne Tincaps. John's friend from work also went with us. He used Mary's ticket as she came down with a cold and didn't feel well enough to go with us. The Whirlpool Leaders Club planned the outing for employees and their families. They booked the "Upper Deck" which is boxed seating. We ate dinner in there and it was a neat experience as neither of us have done something like it before. However, we eventually did go outside to enjoy the game. It was a beautiful night and its more fun to experience the "atmosphere" of the game out of doors.
Hannah liked Swoop who is the teams mascot! There was some debate with Hannah as to whether Swoop was a hawk or a chicken. She thought he looked more like a chicken than a hawk! We'll let you decide! ^_^ The stadium is very family friendly with activities between innings and they even have a kids play area!
After a massive consumption of cotton candy,a few beers for the men and rooting for the home team the Silver Hawks lost to the Tincaps. After the game there were fireworks and boy, they were awesome! Some of the best we've seen! All in all a very fun night!

Our Cheerleader!
Last week Hannah went to Cheer camp at the high school. The varsity cheerleaders ran the camp and taught the girls tumbling and a few cheers! On the last day of camp, each group of girls(they separated them by age) performed the cheers they learned. Hannah really enjoyed herself and wants to go to the camp the varsity cheerleaders are having in the fall.
